Today is Stroke Prevention Day. Did you know that high blood pressure plays a part in approximately half of all strokes? The effects of a stroke can be devastating and sometimes even fatal. Therefore The Stroke Association is encouraging people to have their blood pressure regularly checked – and we can help. All our teams are trained to give blood pressure checks, help and advice. Wherever you see one of our Roving Healthcare Units out and about across the East Midlands, you can approach us for a no-appointment-necessary blood pressure check.
