Patient Care Locally provides a range of services which support both the patients and the system, which we have divided into what we call our Four Pillars of Service Delivery.
We are committed to improving integrated relationships with other providers of care. These come from a number of sources, including primary care, secondary care and the independent sector. When required, we also look to work collaboratively with other agencies, such as Local Authorities.
We facilitate the provision of a range of clinical services within general practice and community settings. Working with our system partners, our mission is to provide patients with excellent service, prioritising their health needs. Simply put: the right cate at the right time, in the right place.
Our goal is to provide complete end-to-end patient satisfaction by understanding the needs of the patient, their community and location. We provide an efficient and effective system which works seamlessly within the current NHS structure.
We term this healthcare “General Practice+ and PrimaryCare+ Services”. These are low-risk patient procedures which were previously carried out in a hospital setting but which can now be safely undertaken by GPs within practice. The PCL system is able to bring specialist healthcare directly to patients within their own community. This relieves pressure on our hospitals and provides patient care in a setting which is more familiar and more convenient.
