Patient Contact Hub

The Patient Contact Hub contacts patients for a wide variety of health care services through a variety of different means.

The Patient Contact Hub was established in 2023.  The PCH contacts patients for a wide variety of health care services through a variety of different means.  With call agents situated throughout the country, the PCH prides itself in using digital technology to support both patient contact and also patient choice.

In year 2023/24, the Patient Contact Hub achieved 87,418 patient contacts.

The Patient Contact Hub is currently active supporting patients in Leicester and Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

The Patient Contact Hub currently incorporates the following services:

Referral Support Service:

– MSK GP Referrals

– Dermatology Referrals

– ENT GP Dermatology Referrals

– General Surgery GP Referrals (Incis and non-Incis Hernia, Lumps and Bumps)

– Pessary GP Referrals

– 2 Week Wait Brain Referrals

– 2 Week Wait Haematology Referrals

– UHL Transfers to community.
